Simon Kemp has a diverse background in housing and social policy, with experience in both the public and private sectors. Simon currently serves as the Codes Administrator at Unipol Student Homes, overseeing a voluntary accreditation scheme. Prior to this, Simon was a School Governor at Bradford Local Authority and held roles at NUS as a Housing and Social Policy Researcher and Officer. Simon holds a Ph.D. in Early Modern History and a BA 1st Class Hons in History and Politics from Oxford Polytechnic.

Unipol is a charity working nationally in the UK to improve training, standards and professionalism in student housing. Unipol operates a number of Accommodation Bureaux and websites designed specifically for the local market they are directed at. We currently operate bureaus in Leeds, Nottingham and Bradford. Unipol is the main national trainer in the niche area of student accommodation. Unipol Training runs over 40 events every year for all those involved in student accommodation provision throughout the United Kingdom.
