Klaus Kraigher

Klaus Kraigher is a seasoned communications professional with extensive experience in strategic communication, media relations, and crisis management. Since September 2022, Klaus has served as a spokesperson for UNIQA Insurance Group AG. Previously, Klaus held the position of Head of Communications at the Austrian Energy Agency from November 2016 to September 2022, where responsibilities included developing a comprehensive communication strategy and managing all communication activities. Klaus has also worked with Holzindustrie Schweighofer SRL as Head of Communications, and Ketchum Publico as Senior Consultant & Innovation Strategist. Early career positions include consulting roles in public relations and media relations at various firms, and a foundational role as an editor at derStandard.at. Klaus holds Master’s degrees in Communication Science and Political Science, as well as a Master of Advanced Studies in Public Relations from the University of Vienna.
