Peter Fischer

Peter Fischer is a seasoned insurance and business management professional with extensive experience in the motor insurance industry. Currently serving as a Senior Motor Underwriter at UNIQA since January 2018, Peter monitors and steers branches across CEE countries, leveraging expertise to implement both standard and tailored solutions. Prior to that, Peter held various significant positions, including Automotive Director at Aon Risk Solutions and Deputy CEO at Cosmex, where responsibilities included business development in Slovak and Czech markets, project realization, and pricing negotiations. Peter's earlier roles also encompass leadership in leasing contract administration at VB LEASING SK, heading motor insurance at Zurich Insurance Company Ltd, and managing a team of experts in motor insurance at Generali Poisťovňa. Peter holds a Dipl. Ing. degree from Slovenská technická univerzita v Bratislave, completed in 1995.
