Claus Schensema

Claus Schensema has had a diverse and extensive career in the logistics industry. Claus began their career at Rohlig Logistics, where they gained experience in various roles such as Trainee, Air Freight Associate, Africa Department Coordinator, and Route Development Manager. Claus then joined GEODIS as a Sales Manager and later became the Chief Representative in China. After that, Schensema joined the GAC Group, where they served as the Managing Director for China and later as the Managing Director for North America Logistics. Currently, Schensema holds various leadership positions at UNIQUE Logistics International, including Vice President of Compliance & Risk Management and Vice President of E&A. Throughout their career, Schensema has demonstrated expertise in areas such as administration, finance, compliance, legal, HR, process management, account management, direct sales, budgeting, pricing, and space procurement.

Claus Schensema attended London Business School in 2008 to study Finance for Senior Managers. In 2017, they enrolled in Lone Star College for a course in Lean Six Sigma. In 2006, Claus studied the Anatomy of Shipping at the Moller School, Cambridge Academy of Transport in the UK. From 2002 to 2017, they obtained annual re-certifications in Financial Management, Quality, HSSE, and Compliance & Ethics from the GAC Corporate Academy. Additionally, Claus holds various certifications in areas such as CTPAT for Consolidator/Forwarder Managers, Anti-Bribery and Anti-Corruption, Data Privacy and Information Security, IAC Security Training, FCPA Essentials, TRACE International, and Information Security Awareness.
