Ronald van Slooten

Ronald van Slooten currently serves as the VP of Global Human Resources at uniQure since May 2025. Prior to this role, Ronald held various senior HR positions, including HR Director at Sanquin (2018 - May 2025) and Global HR Director at RELX Group (2015 - 2017), where responsibilities encompassed overseeing a large HR team and managing complex labor relations across multiple regions. Ronald also has experience as Global Human Resources Director at RELX Group (2007 - 2014), and HR Director roles at Amgen (2004 - 2007) and General Electric Water Technologies (2002 - 2004). Ronald began a career at Pricewaterhousecoopers Consulting and Unilever, where roles ranged from Management Trainee to HR Manager Europe. Ronald holds a Master of Science in Chemistry from Leiden University and completed an Executive Leadership program at Harvard Business School in 2009.
