Scott Hemphill has held various engineering and management roles throughout their career. Scott began in 2002 as a Process Engineer at Intergrated Process Technologies and later worked as a Process Engineer at Wyeth Biotech. In 2006, they joined Kelly Engineering Resources as a Process Engineer before moving to DECCO Process Solutions as a Project Engineer in 2008. Hemphill then worked at Lonza as a Sr. Process Engineer and later as a Utilities Manager from 2009 to 2014. Scott also had a brief role as a Project Engineer at Shire in 2014. Since then, Hemphill has held positions at uniQure, starting as a Sr. Process Engineer II and gradually moving up to Director of Engineering, Sr. Director of Engineering, Facilities, and Validation, and finally Executive Director of Global Engineering, Facilities, and Validation.
Scott Hemphill attended Westford Academy from 1993 to 1997 and obtained a HS Diploma. Scott then pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology from 1997 to 2001.
