Sameer Handa MNZM

Sameer Handa MNZM has an extensive work experience, beginning in 2005 with a role as Board Trustee for the Trust for the Destruction of Synthetic Refrigerants - Recovery. In 2013, they became a Board Member and Chairman of the India New Zealand Business Council, as well as a Director for Bank of India (NZ) Limited and an Advisory Board Member and Deputy Chair of NZAL. In 2018, they became a Member Board Of Trustees for the Auckland Hospital Foundation. In 2021, they took on the roles of Director / Investor for Uniqway.com, Chairman of the Advisory Board for Electronic Partners Ltd., and Director for Swivel Careers. Finally, in 2022, they became an Honorary Advisor for the Asia New Zealand Foundation Te Whātau Tūhono. Sameer is currently the Managing Director/CEO of Glowbal NZ.

Sameer Handa MNZM has a diverse educational background. Sameer began their studies in 1981 at the Delhi College of Engineering, where they obtained a B.E. in Mechanical. In 1990, they obtained an MBA in Strategy from the University of Sydney. In 2002, they attended the Harvard Club of Australia's Leadership Program 2002, where they studied Strategic & Entrepreneurial Management. In 2009, they completed the Company Directors' Course at the Institute of Directors (IoD) NZ, which focused on Governance. In October 2014, they were awarded the CMInstD from the Institute of Directors in New Zealand.
