Andy Cooper has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over several decades. Andy started their career at Morgan Stanley, where they held various roles including Principal, VP, and Associate, focusing on investments in technology and telecommunications companies. Andy then co-founded Avesta Technologies, a leading enterprise software company specializing in IT fault and performance management solutions. Avesta was later acquired by Visual Networks Inc., where Andy served as EVP of Business Development. During their time at Carlyle Group, they held the position of Managing Director - Venture. Andy also served as Co-CEO and Board Director at Unison Site Management, helping the company become the largest independent cellular site management company in the nation. Andy was a Board Director at Aquatic Energy, which developed algae-based products for biofuel and animal feed. Andy also served as a Board Director at Prospect Capital Management. Currently, Andy is the Co-Founder, Co-CEO, and Director of Unison Energy, which provides on-site energy solutions to help clients transition to zero carbon.

Andy Cooper attended Duke University from 1980 to 1984 where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and Geology.
