Tiffany Hairston, Ph.D., LICDC-CS, LPCC-S, NCC, currently serves as an Assistant Professor at the University of the Cumberlands since September 2019 and has held the position of Clinical Coordinator of Outpatient Alcohol and Drug Treatment Services at Unison Health since March 2013. Previously, Tiffany Hairston contributed as an Adjunct Professor at both The University of Toledo from August 2016 to January 2020 and Messiah College from May 2018 to August 2019. Tiffany Hairston earned a Ph.D. in Counselor Education and Supervision from The University of Toledo, completing the degree between 2010 and 2016.

Unison Health is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing behavioral health care and alcohol and drug treatment services that are accessible and affordable. We are funded in part by the Mental Health and Recovery Services Board of Lucas County and Wood County ADAMHS Board. In addition, we are accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations and certified by both the Ohio Department of Alcohol and Drug Addiction Services and the Ohio Department of Mental Health. Unison offers confidential treatment options including: • Services for adults diagnosed with a severe and persistent mental illness (SPMI) • Medical services and medication management for adults and children related to their behavioral health issue • Alcohol and other drug treatment for youth ages 11-17 including: assessment, individual treatment, intensive outpatient and aftercare • Home-based family therapy for children with serious emotional disabilities • Outpatient counseling services for adults and children
