Wietz van der Westhuizen

Wietz van der Westhuizen is a seasoned professional in the field of quantity surveying and project management with extensive experience in the construction industry. Currently serving as Principal and Preconstruction Team Lead at Unispace since June 2021, Wietz has a track record of progressing through various roles including Senior Project Manager and Project Manager. Previous experience includes positions as Senior Quantity Surveyor at CDL Building, Quantity Surveyor roles at Built., DECMIL, Alex Maintenance and Electrical Services, and ALEC, where responsibilities encompassed procurement, cost control, sub-contractor management, and design coordination. Wietz holds a Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying and a National Diploma in General Construction, both from Nelson Mandela University.
