Senior IT Project Manager, Software Architect at Uni Systems

Nikos LIAKIS has over 20 years of experience in the IT industry, holding various roles in different companies. Nikos is currently working at UniSystems as a Senior IT Project Manager and Software Architect. Prior to that, they worked at ARHS Cube as a Senior IT Project Manager from 2016 to 2018. From 2016 to 2018, they also worked at the European Commission as a Project Manager, overseeing infrastructure and development projects. Before that, Nikos worked as a Consultant, providing consulting services and working on various projects from 2014 to 2016. Nikos also gained experience at BNP Paribas Fortis as an E2E Analyst, where they were involved in business analysis and application design for internet and mobile banking platforms. Early in their career, they worked at Intrasoft International from 2001 to 2013 as a Senior Technical IT professional. Nikos also has experience working with the Greek Customs, OHIM, and the European Commission on several projects related to ICT systems. Nikos started their career at INTRASOFT, where they were responsible for projects involving internet usage management and port operations.

Nikos Liakis began their education at Lycée Léonin d' Athènes from 1975 to 1981. Nikos then went on to attend the University of Strasbourg III from 1981 to 1984, where they obtained a DEUG on Sciences level. Nikos later transferred to the University of Athens and graduated in 1992 with an MSc from the department of Physics.

In addition to their formal education, Nikos Liakis has also obtained several certifications. In 2009, they earned certifications in Java 2 Platform Enterprise Edition (J2EE) 1.4, Java 6, and Oracle PL/SQL Fundamentals from Brainbench. Nikos further enhanced their knowledge and skills by obtaining a Prince2 certification from The Knowledge Academy in 2014. In 2016, they received a Professional Scrum Master I certification from Scrum.org. Most recently, in 2018, Nikos Liakis obtained an ITIL™ certification in IT Service Management from AXELOS Global Best Practice.
