Richard Nugent

Richard Nugent has a diverse work experience spanning several decades. richard worked as a Legislative Assistant, Office Manager, and Staff Assistant for United States Senator Joseph R. Biden from 1973 to 1983. richard then became the Government Affairs Director for the Epilepsy Foundation of America from 1984 to 1991, where they were responsible for public policy initiatives and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders. From 1992 to 1993, they served as the Executive Liaison Officer for the International Science and Technology Institute, managing a health care project in Indonesia. richard then worked as an Interim Minister for Unitarian Universalist Congregations from 1997 to 2008. In 2008, they joined the Unitarian Universalist Association as the Director of UUA Church Staff Finances.

Richard Nugent earned their Bachelor's degree in Economics, Statistics, and Comparative Religion from The George Washington University. richard later attended the Pacific School of Religion from 1994 to 1996, where they obtained a Master of Divinity (MDiv) degree in Ministry.
