John E. Howard, M.S. SHRM-SCP, currently serves as the Human Resources Director at the Unitarian Universalist Service Committee since March 2022. Prior experience includes over a decade at Youth Villages, where roles ranged from Director of Workforce & Culture to Human Capital Manager, focusing on human capital management strategies and culture development during times of workforce transition and growth. Additional roles include Program Staff Development Specialist, Clinical Supervisor, and Bilingual Family Counselor, demonstrating a strong background in talent management and employee development. John E. Howard has also provided leadership coaching as the owner of Key Elements Coaching. Educational qualifications include a Master's in Counseling Psychology from the University of Southern Maine, alongside certifications in coaching from the World Coach Institute and a Bachelor's in English from Skidmore College.
