Sofia Goodman Arbona is an experienced professional with a strong background in community organizing, research, and the arts. Currently involved with UNITE HERE Local 11 since March 2020, Sofia coordinates volunteers for the Unemployment Insurance Mutual Aid Project, creating training materials and conducting legal research. Previous roles include Field Organizer for CASE Action Fund during the 2020 presidential election, where strategic voter engagement efforts were implemented, and Research Fellow at Stanford University's American Voices Project, where extensive qualitative interviews were conducted. Sofia has also contributed to the arts through positions as Curatorial Assistant at STNDRD Art Gallery, Intern at Monaco Art Gallery, and Development Intern at the Contemporary Arts Center. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts in Global Cultural Studies from Washington University in St. Louis and studies at Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile.
