Alex Lipton

Alex, Deputy General Counsel at Unite Us, is committed to supporting equitable access to health and social care. Alex started his career as a middle school teacher and debate coach in San Jose, California. After graduating from law school, Alex clerked on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit and advised on corporate and strategic transactions, technology transactions, and intellectual property matters at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP.

Alex earned his AB from Harvard and his JD from New York University School of Law. He lives in Brooklyn with his wife and daughter. Outside of work, he enjoys writing music and exploring the great outdoors—whether wilderness camping or noshing on a bagel at his neighborhood park.
