Brett Wiard, CISSP has extensive experience in IT and security management, currently serving as the Director of Security and IT at Unite Us since August 2021, where a Corporate IT Security team was established and security policies were created to enhance threat mitigation. Previous roles include IT Manager positions at Sifted, mySidewalk, and EnviroMedia, where Brett developed scalable IT standards, security strategies, and migration plans to modernize infrastructure. Earlier career highlights include generating significant revenue as a Professional Services Engineer at Primus Networks and ensuring high system uptime as an Enterprise Systems Engineer at Verizon Business. Brett's foundational experience includes consulting and training, along with a strong background in media management as a Director at KTBC-TV and KNWA-TV. Brett holds a B.S. in Journalism from The University of Kansas.
