Shannon Martinez

Shannon Martinez, MA, serves as the Director of Implementation at Unite Us since June 2020, where responsibilities include managing a team of Implementation Managers and overseeing operational implementations in a fast-paced technology environment. Previous roles at Unite Us included Associate Director and Senior Implementation Manager. Prior to this, Shannon held the position of Director of Implementation and Impact at Civic Leadership Foundation, managing educational programs, partnerships, and communications. Other experience includes community engagement management at the Dystonia Medical Research Foundation and research assistance at the University of Chicago Survey Lab. Shannon's earlier work as an Education Volunteer with the Peace Corps in Rwanda focused on curriculum development and health education initiatives. Shannon holds a Master's Degree in Social Sciences from the University of Chicago and a Bachelor’s Degree in Cultural Anthropology and Journalism from Seattle University.
