Melissa Malone Sanjeh is an experienced educational leader with a strong background in professional development, curriculum design, and program implementation. Currently serving as the Senior Director of Professional Learning and Implementation at CAST since August 2018, Melissa has also held roles as an Education Specialist at Action for Boston Community Development, Inc. and Headmaster at Boston Public Schools, where a Turnaround Plan was co-authored to transform an underperforming school. Previously, as Principal at Action for Boston Community Development, Inc., Melissa directed an Alternative High School focused on serving over-age and under-credited students. Melissa holds a Master's Degree in Social Work from Washington University in St. Louis and has participated in the Lynch Leadership Academy at Boston College, as well as ongoing education at the Harvard Graduate School of Education. A Bachelor's Degree in Sociology was earned at the University of Michigan.
