Carlos Almendros

Carlos Almendros is an experienced professional in global procurement and travel management, currently serving as the Global Procurement Service Leader (Travel) at Cisco since September 2007. With a background in overseeing significant travel and expense budgets, Carlos has successfully collaborated with teams to manage $650M in travel and expense. Previous roles include Global Procurement Operations Leader (P2P) and Snr. Global Travel Manager, where Carlos focused on enhancing the buying experience and bridging the gap between travel and meetings. In addition to a successful career at Cisco, Carlos holds board member positions at United Airlines, IHG Hotels & Resorts, and American Express Global Business Travel since February 2019 and January 2019, respectively. Carlos completed secondary education at Greenway Secondary School from 1982 to 1987.
