Kathy Sowa

Kathy Sowa is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in tax technology and internal audit management. Currently serving as Senior Manager of Tax Technology at United Airlines since November 2007, Kathy has led significant projects in tax integration, tax credits, and automation, showcasing expertise in data mining and workflow optimization. Previously, as Director of IT Internal Audit at United Airlines, Kathy directed a team to execute corporate audits and continuous improvement initiatives. Earlier roles included Director of Financial Systems Planning at Loyola University Medical Center and Accounting Manager at Holleb and Company. Kathy holds an MBA from Loyola University Chicago and a BS in Accounting from Bradley University.
