Steven Foster

Steven Foster is an accomplished aviation professional with extensive experience in flight operations and education. Currently serving in a special assignment for International Flight Operations at United Airlines since May 2021, Steven has held various pilot positions, including First Officer roles on B787, B737, and A320 aircraft. Prior to United Airlines, Steven worked at Spirit Airlines, SkyWest Airlines, and Pinnacle Airlines Corp., where responsibilities included ensuring operational excellence and compliance with safety regulations. Additionally, Steven has contributed to aviation education as an Adjunct Professor at Lewis University since January 2012 and as a Flight Instructor before that. Steven holds a Master of Science in Aviation & Transportation from Lewis University, an Associate of Science in Air Traffic Control, and a Bachelor of Science in Aviation Human Factors from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
