Amadou Konate is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in treasury management and sales across several African financial markets. Currently serving as the Regional Head of Sales & Trading for Francophone Africa at UBA Group since January 2021, Amadou manages Treasury sales and trading teams while implementing sales processes and business strategies. Previous roles include Head of Treasury & International Payments at UBA America, Regional Treasurer for UEMOA, and Head of Treasury at UBA Senegal. Amadou has a strong background in asset and liability management, financial market operations, and business development, supported by advanced degrees in Statistics & Econometrics, International Finance, and Economics from reputable institutions.
