Matthew S. Amling is a seasoned compliance expert with extensive experience in the financial services sector. Currently serving as the Senior Compliance Manager at United Bank Inc since April 2017, Matthew oversees regulatory compliance initiatives, including the Compliance Management Program and Fair Lending Program, while ensuring adherence to various federal regulations such as TILA, RESPA, and ECOA. As the Founder of Amling and Company LLC, Matthew provides advisory services in residential and commercial real estate across Maryland, DC, and Virginia. Previously, as a Manager at Treliant from June 2010 to April 2017, Matthew led significant qualitative and quantitative engagements, advising clients on a range of compliance and risk management issues. Matthew holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Washington and Lee University.
