Rob Atwell

Rob Atwell has over 24 years of experience in the banking and financial industry. Rob currently serves as the Senior Vice President of Mortgage Administration at United Bank of Michigan since November 2015. Prior to that, they were the Vice President and Director of Retail Lending at Macatawa Bank for 17 years. Before joining Macatawa Bank, they worked for First Michigan Bank as a Retail/Mortgage Lender and for American Bankers Insurance Company as a Loan Recovery Specialist.

Rob Atwell attended Grandville High School, where they completed their secondary education. Following this, they enrolled at Grand Rapids Community College in 1988 and Western Michigan University in 1990. At Western Michigan University, they pursued a Bachelor of Business Administration degree with a focus in Finance, completing it in 1991. Afterward, they attended the Graduate School of Banking at the University of Wisconsin - Madison from 2004 to 2006 and successfully graduated on August 25, 2006.
