Frédéric Houdaille

International Business Development at United By Blue

Frédéric Houdaille has been in the international business development industry since 1994. Frédéric began their career at Lacoste as an Area Manager for Northern/Eastern Europe, where they managed a $20 million business in Western, Northern, Central, and Eastern Europe. Frédéric then moved to Oxbow as an International Sales Manager, where they managed the Export business unit with an in-house staff of 5 and was responsible for more than 25 countries. In 2000, they joined Lantis Eyewear as Vice President of International Division, managing the International Division with full P&L responsibility. From 2002 to 2006, they were Vice President of International Sales at AND 1, managing business development through a distribution network of 30 distributors in more than 120 countries. From 2006 to 2013, they were Vice President of International Sales at Dansko, launching Dansko's International business from scratch and establishing solid foundations for their brand's launch. Since 2016, they have been working with United By Blue as Head of International, hiring 5 master agents in Europe, appointing 8 International distributors, and implementing a 3PL solution to support their foreign accounts. Frédéric also worked as a Skipper at Zazen from 2013-2016.

Frédéric Houdaille began their educational career in 1983 when they attended Middlesex University and obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Marketing and International Finance in 1986. Frédéric then moved on to NEOMA Business School, where they earned a Master 2 in International Business Administration in 1988. In 2004, they attended Harvard Business School to complete a course in Finance for non financial Executives.
