Lynn McLendon

Lynn McLendon recently retired after 36 years working for the State of South Carolina. She was the Children’s Ombudsman for 12 years under governors Carroll Campbell and David Beasley, advising the Governor’s Office and the South Carolina Legislature on children’s issues involving state agencies, private providers, and new initiatives. Following her time as the Children’s Ombudsman, she served 10 years as the Division Director for Constituent Services in the South Carolina Department of Social Services. Lynn joined the United Cerebral Palsy of South Carolina Board of Directors in March 2020.
