Ryan Smith is a Senior Nuclear Criticality Safety Engineer at UCOR, with previous experience at Amentum as a Nuclear Engineer. Prior to that, Ryan worked as a Chief Operations Officer at Palm Central Provisions and as a Radiological Safety Engineer at Bechtel Corporation. Ryan holds a Bachelor of Science in Nuclear Engineering from the University of Florida and an Associate of Arts in Engineering from Santa Fe College.

United Cleanup Oak Ridge is conducting major cleanup activities at the laboratory and the security complex as well as remedial activities. Their packaging, loading, shipping, and disposal of all waste from deactivation, demolition, and remediation activities. UCOR is deactivating and demolishing excess facilities, which includes remediatingcontaminated soil, water, and infrastructure.
