Mohammad Omar Faruque

Mohammad Omar Faruque is an accomplished banking professional with extensive experience, currently serving as First Assistant Vice President at United Commercial Bank Limited since August 2021. Prior to this role, Mohammad Omar held the position of Assistant Vice President at Dutch-Bangla Bank Limited from December 2017 to August 2021, and accumulated significant experience at Prime Bank Ltd. over more than a decade, where roles included First Assistant Vice President, Senior Executive Officer, Executive Officer, Principal Officer, and Management Trainee. Mohammad Omar holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Banking from the University of Dhaka, as well as a Master of Science (M.Sc) and Bachelor of Science (B.Sc Honors) in Statistics from Rajshahi University, along with a higher secondary certificate and secondary school certificate in Science from Comilla Victoria College and Comilla Zilla School, respectively.
