Nabil Rahman has over 27 years of work experience in various financial institutions and companies. Nabil began their career as a Senior Executive at Joyful Miles Ltd, where they gained international exposure in trade finance operations. Nabil then worked as a Senior Financial Analyst and Project Coordinator at Beximco Group, focusing on corporate finance, business plans, and project feasibility studies. Later, Nabil joined Standard Chartered Bank as a Senior Associate in Specialist Finance & Advisory Services, specializing in project financing, corporate advisory services, and debt and equity solutions. Nabil then moved to Credit Agricole as a Senior Manager, responsible for risk assessment and syndicated transactions. Nabil also worked at HSBC as the Manager of HSBC Amanah, establishing shariah banking and expanding the corporate banking business. After that, they joined IPDC of Bangladesh Limited as the Head of Investment, focusing on growing the corporate asset book and introducing new financial products. Nabil then served as the Head of Structured Finance at AB Bank Ltd, where they grew the bank's asset book and developed advanced financial products. Nabil continued their career as the Chief Risk Officer at Brac Bank Limited, overseeing country credit risk management and leading a team of over 350 people. Currently, Nabil is working as the Additional Managing Director at United Commercial Bank Limited, leading the largest credit portfolio among Bangladeshi PCBs and managing the Islamic banking division (UCB Taqwa).

Nabil Rahman received their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Finance and Management Science from the Institute of Business Administration, University of Dhaka, from 1990 to 1993. Before that, they completed their Bachelor's degree from the University of Dhaka in 1989. Prior to that, they obtained their HSC degree in Science from University Laboratory College in 1985. Nabil'seducation started with a SSC degree in Science from University Laboratory School in 1983.
