Angela Larson has a diverse range of work experience. Angela started in 1995 as a Program Director at REM Southwest Services and held the position until 2003. From 2002 to 2006, they worked as the Education Director at New Horizons Crisis Center, where they provided community education on various topics. Angela has been with United Community Action Partnership, Inc. since 2006, serving as the Family Services Director. In this role, they manage anti-poverty programs, including food security and homeless programs, financial literacy education, and free tax preparation services. Angela is responsible for grantwriting, program management, budgeting, and staff supervision.
Angela Larson completed their high school education at Marshall Senior High School, earning a High School Diploma. After high school, they attended Augustana University (SD) from 1993 to 1995, studying nursing, but did not obtain a degree. Later, from 1998 to 2002, Angela Larson attended Southwest Minnesota State University, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Sociology.
