Bill Durrell

Bill Durrell has extensive experience in the banking and real estate industries. Bill is currently working as a Senior Vice President of Commercial Banking at United Community Bank since November 2017. Prior to that, they worked as a Vice President of Commercial Banking at South State Bank from July 2015 to November 2017. Before their banking roles, they served as a Credit Officer at TD from July 2014 to July 2015. Additionally, Durrell has experience in the real estate field, working as a Broker at Lee & Associates from January 2013 to June 2015. Bill has also held leadership positions in the home building industry, serving as the Division President at New Home Star from June 2008 to January 2013, and as a Partner at Due North Mortgage from June 2008 to June 2012. Earlier in their career, Durrell held positions such as Senior Vice President and Chief Lending Officer at BankGreenville from April 2007 to April 2008, and Director of Sales and Marketing at Old South Home from 1999 to 2002. Bill has also held the role of Senior Vice President of Commercial Banking at The South Financial Group from 2002 to 2005.

Bill Durrell obtained a BS and an MBA in Economics and Business from Clemson University, where they studied from 1981 to 1985.
