Craig Dowdy

Craig Dowdy holds extensive experience in the banking industry, currently serving as the East Atlanta President at United Community Bank since March 2020. Prior to this role, Craig was the President for Forsyth/Alpharetta and the Senior Vice President overseeing the Commercial Lending Division at the same institution. Craig's career includes a tenure at Truist from January 2017 to March 2020 as the Group Vice President of Business Banking. Additionally, Craig worked at SunTrust Bank from September 2004 to January 2017, holding the positions of Vice President, Business Banker, and City President. Craig earned a Bachelor's degree in Marketing from Georgia Southwestern State University, completing studies in 2004.
