Mara Lovo

Mara Lovo has a strong background in human services and education, with experience in various roles at different organizations. Mara started as an Education Assistant at UMOS in 2006, transitioned to Refugee FEP at MAXIMUS in 2013, and later became a W2 Case Manager at ResCare Workforce Services in 2014. Mara then took on the role of GED Instructor at Family Literacy of Racine in 2015 before joining United Community Center in 2017. At UCC, they served as a Financial Analyst before being promoted to Director of Human Services in August 2021.

Mara Lovo earned a Bachelor's degree in Business Management from Cardinal Stritch University in 2013. Later, they completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree at the University of Wisconsin-Parkside from 2022 to 2024, focusing on Business Administration and Management.
