Tom Wiedmann

Tom Wiedmann is an experienced professional in community engagement and journalism, currently serving as the Assistant Director of Community Engagement at United Community Corporation and as an AmeriCorps VISTA Supervisor since September 2022. Previously, Tom held positions as Deputy Editor and News Reporter at TAPinto.net, where coverage focused on breaking news and multimedia content production in New Jersey. Other roles include Sustainability Reporter for CivicStoryNJ, News Reporter at Fastinform, Staff Writer for Newspaper Media Group, and Correspondent Writer and Photographer for Trenton Monitor. Tom holds a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from Rutgers University - Newark and an Associate of Arts in Journalism from Brookdale Community College.
