Fatima Gazanova

Fatima Gazanova currently serves as the Head of International Communications at UC RUSAL, a position held since August 2024. Previously, Fatima was the Head of Communications & Sustainability at ROCKWOOL Group from February 2022 to August 2024. Fatima's extensive experience also includes a role in Corporate Affairs at JTI (Japan Tobacco International) from July 2019 to September 2020, focusing on strategic communication and public relations. Fatima has held various senior positions in communications and public relations, including Head of Public Affairs at Hitachi, Ltd and Head of Communications for Russia, Ukraine, and Kazakhstan at Electrolux. Earlier career roles encompass marketing and PR at Marriott International Inc, strategic planning at TNK BP, and PR specialist at Liggett-Ducat. Fatima holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Sociology from the State University of Management and has academic credentials from the Academy of National Economy under the Government of the Russian Federation and Moscow Pedagogical State University in Geography.
