Mahmoud Abakar

Mahmoud Abakar has had a successful career in facilities management and operations. Mahmoud began their career as a Project Engineer at Rotana Contracting LLC, where they coordinated with sub-contractors and engineering staff to ensure the smooth implementation of mechanical, electrical, and piping system works. Mahmoud then joined MAF Dalkia Middle East LLC as an Operations Engineer, where they oversaw the delivery of services and contractual obligations for government school contracts. At Emaar Properties, Mahmoud worked as a Technical Engineer, monitoring and auditing technical services and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. Mahmoud then joined Tafawuq Facility Management as a Facilities Manager, where they managed a team in carrying out periodical preventive and corrective maintenance of MEP systems and implemented service standards. Currently, they serve as the Head of Operations at United Development Company (UDC), overseeing the operations of the company. Overall, Mahmoud has gained extensive experience in managing facilities and ensuring the smooth functioning of various technical systems.

Mahmoud Abakar completed their Bachelor Degree of Engineering in Electrical & Electronics Engineering from the University of Sharjah between the years 2000 to 2005. Later, they pursued a Master of Science - MS degree in Project Management from The University of Salford from 2016 to 2018.
