Robert McCarey

Director Of Engineering at United Electric Controls

Robert McCarey has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades in various engineering roles. Robert began their career as a Mechanical Engineer at Panametrics Inc. in 1998, where they developed and manufactured process control flow instrumentation. In 2000, they joined Talon Engineering Corp. as a Mechanical Engineer, specializing in Ultra-High Purity (UHP) machined components for the semiconductor industry. After two years, McCarey moved to GE Sensing and Inspection Technologies, Measurement Solutions as a Mechanical Technical Lead. Here, they worked on sensor-based measurement and inspection solutions for industries such as oil & gas, power generation, and aerospace. Since 2006, McCarey has been associated with United Electric Controls, where they started as a Project Engineer II and later became the Engineering Manager, overseeing electro-mechanical projects. Currently, they hold the position of Director of Engineering at United Electric Controls.

Robert McCarey earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) from the University of Massachusetts Lowell from 1994 to 1998. Prior to that, from 1992 to 1994, they obtained an Associate of Science in Mechanical Engineering (ASME) from the Wentworth Institute of Technology.
