Scott Cody

Scott Cody, CISSP, has over 24 years of experience in various IT leadership roles. Scott is currently the Director of IT Operations at United Engineers & Constructors. Prior to this, they worked at Chainline Technology Advisors as a Lead Consultant, successfully delivering projects for clients across industries, including cyber security assessments, enterprise implementations, and disaster recovery planning. Scott also served as the Director of Information Technology at Frontline Road Safety, where they acted as a fractional CIO for multiple operating companies and played a crucial role in identifying and mitigating cyber security threats. Scott previously held the position of Director of Project Management - IT at CRB, where they led cross-functional teams, provided technical project planning, and focused on employee engagement and development. Before that, Scott served as the IT Director at RK Mechanical, managing IT support and data teams and overseeing infrastructure and application development. Scott also held the role of IT Director at Preston Pipelines, where they directed IT operations and proposed system solutions and optimizations. At Turner Construction Company, Scott served as the Technology Services Manager, overseeing technical staff and managing the deployment of strategic solutions across multiple offices. Scott Cody, CISSP, has a diverse educational background in computer and information sciences, information systems, physics, and philosophy. Scott attended Grossmont College from 1996 to 1997, where they focused on computer and information sciences and support services. During the same period, they also studied information systems at San Diego Mesa College. Prior to that, from 1994 to 1995, Scott Cody pursued studies in physics and philosophy at Riverside City College.

In addition to their education, Scott Cody holds several certifications. Scott obtained the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification from (ISC)² in November 2022. This certification demonstrates their expertise in information security and validates their knowledge and skills in the field.
