Joel Nelson

Joel Nelson has extensive experience in labor organizing, currently serving as a Senior Organizer at Organization United for Respect at Walmart (OUR Walmart) since 2018. Previously, Joel held the position of Deputy Organizing Director for Rise Up Retail at UFCW from June 2011 to April 2017, where responsibilities included developing strategies for member engagement and advocacy. Joel's educational background includes an Associate of Arts and Sciences degree in Organizational Leadership from Whatcom Community College, earned between 2003 and 2006.
