Health Safety Environment Officer at United Hospital District

Adam Grant has a diverse work experience. Adam started their career in 2008 as a Collection Specialist at the American Red Cross until 2010. From 2010 to 2011, they worked as a Lung Health Field Specialist at Social and Scientific Systems. After that, they joined Mayo Clinic Health System- Albert Lea as a Lab Tech Assistant/ Phlebotomist from 2011 to 2013. From 2013 to 2018, they served as a Paramedic at Gold Cross. Currently, they work at United Hospital District, Inc. as a Health Safety Environment Officer, where they manage a team of 20 EMT's, handles scheduling, payroll, and hiring duties, and ensures compliance with regulations and policies related to environment of care and life safety, as well as emergency management.

Adam Grant completed their education in the field of Emergency Medical Technology/Technician (EMT Paramedic). From 2011 to 2013, they attended Riverland Community College and received a certificate in EMT. After that, they pursued further studies at South Central College in Mankato, MN from 2013 to 2015, where they obtained an A.A.S. degree in Intensive Care Paramedic.

In addition to their educational qualifications, Adam Grant has obtained several certifications. In January 2013, they obtained the Emergency Medical Technician-Paramedic certification from NREMT. Furthermore, they obtained the American Heart Association BLS, CPR, AED certification in September 2012 from AHA, MCHS-Albert Lea, MN. Adam also holds OSHA certifications, including OSHA 30 Hour - General Industry from the OSHA Safety Training Institute obtained in March 2021, and OSHA 10 HOUR obtained in October 2020 from the same institution.
