Janessa Jahnke has a range of work experience in various healthcare and educational roles. Janessa began their career as a Certified Nursing Assistant at St. Luke's Lutheran Care Center from May 2014 to January 2018. Janessa then worked as an Emergency Medical Technician at United Hospital District, Inc. from August 2018 to the present. Janessa also served as a Clinical Assistant/Scribe at the Center for Specialty Care - Fairmont from June 2017 to February 2020. In addition, they were a Registered Nurse at Mayo Clinic starting in October 2020. Alongside their healthcare roles, Janessa has also been involved in coaching positions, such as Head Coach for the Blue Earth JO Volleyball 18U team from January 2019 to April 2019 and Head Coach for the St. Clair Junior Olympic Volleyball Program from October 2014 to March 2015. Janessa has also held campus ambassador and cafeteria worker positions at Rasmussen College and Gustavus Adolphus College, respectively. Additionally, they gained experience as a direct support professional at Shiloh's Hope, Inc. and as an assistant caretaker at Blue Earth Riverside Cemetery.
Janessa Jahnke completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse from Rasmussen University in 2020. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Biology, General from Gustavus Adolphus College, where they studied from 2013 to 2017.
