Steve Tan

Steve Tan is a seasoned leader in the healthcare technology sector, currently serving as the CEO of the Healthcare Software Business at United Imaging Healthcare since July 2013. Prior to this role, Steve Tan held various significant positions at GE Healthcare from April 1995 to July 2013, including General Manager of the Value MR Business and Director of New Product Development, where responsibilities included overseeing the annual product sales of the Premium MRI division, amounting to approximately $800 million. Additionally, Steve Tan managed the Global Systems Engineering teams and made notable contributions to MR pulse sequence development, creating widely-used sequences that remain integral to GE MRI systems. Steve Tan holds a Ph.D. in Physics from the Georgia Institute of Technology and completed a post-doctoral fellowship in Biophysics at the Medical College of Wisconsin.
