Andrew Masterman

Andrew Masterman is a Propulsion Systems Design Engineer at United Launch Alliance (ULA) since April 2019, with prior experience at SpaceX as a Rocket Propulsion Development and Test Engineer, where responsibilities included testing main engines and propulsion data analysis. Andrew co-founded Students for the Exploration and Development of Space (SEDS) and played a pivotal role in designing a 3D printed LOX/LCH4 rocket engine while also educating students on rocket propulsion. Andrew's engineering career began with structural engineering roles at several firms, including Gill Engineering Associates and AI Engineers Inc, where responsibilities involved designing structural components and conducting inspections. Andrew holds a Master of Science in Aerospace Engineering from San José State University and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Wentworth Institute of Technology.
