Brian Thomas

Brian Thomas is a seasoned professional in aerospace engineering with extensive experience in software engineering management and integration. Currently serving as Software Engineering Manager at United Launch Alliance since March 2023, Brian previously held various leadership roles at GE Aviation from 2010 to 2022, where responsibilities included overseeing Flight Management Systems across commercial and defense programs. Prior to that, Brian worked at BAE Systems for over a decade, championing the transition to automated software testing and earning the 2009 BAE Systems Bronze Chairman’s Award. Earlier roles include significant positions at Lockheed Martin, where Brian led teams in autopilot design, and experience in software integration and simulation. Brian holds a Master of Science and Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Minnesota.
