David Nguyen

David Nguyen is an experienced Embedded Software Engineer 3 at United Launch Alliance (ULA), specializing in mission-critical software development for orbital-class rocket launches using C++. Nguyen has a strong background in coordinating with stakeholders, mentoring engineers, and testing software in hardware-in-the-loop environments. Prior experience includes serving as Project Manager and Systems Engineer in a NASA program focused on secondary payload design for Mars, as well as mentoring students in mobile app development through Dreams for Schools. Nguyen also has expertise in mobile application development, having created an event check-in system using React-Native for Alpha Phi Omega National Service Fraternity, and has held various technical roles at AKiTiO, where significant contributions were made to e-GPU development and customer support. Nguyen holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from California State University, Fullerton, along with a certificate in Data Analytics & Visualization from the University of California, Irvine.
