Lonnie Vega

Lonnie Vega is a skilled Propulsion Test Engineer I at United Launch Alliance (ULA) since February 2023, with a strong background in mechanical engineering and experience in various engineering internships. Prior to this role, Lonnie served as a NACME Scholar, recognized for excellence among underrepresented minorities in engineering. Previous positions include mechanical engineer intern roles at ULA and Northrop Grumman, where Lonnie contributed to tooling design, 3D modeling, and validation of flight hardware, along with substantial involvement in research projects at the University of Central Florida. Lonnie holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Central Florida and has demonstrated leadership and technical capabilities through various collaborative projects in both academic and professional settings.
