MacKenzie Phelps

Mackenzie Phelps is an experienced embedded software engineer currently working at United Launch Alliance (ULA) since September 2023. Prior to ULA, Mackenzie served as a controls engineer at Guardian Manufacturing from November 2020 to September 2023, where responsibilities included testing control systems and developing software for aerospace cryogenic liquid nitrogen systems. Mackenzie has a strong background in control systems management from a tenure at Universal Creative, where project oversight spanned from concept through implementation, complemented by extensive test procedure authorship. Earlier experiences include roles as an associate engineer and intern at Universal Creative, as well as a merchandise hostess with The Walt Disney Company and a technical support analyst intern at Polycom. Mackenzie holds a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from Penn State University.
