Victoria Jesswein

Victoria Jesswein is an experienced archivist currently managing the ELCA Region 8 Archives and the United Lutheran Seminary Archives since May 2021. Responsibilities include processing archival records, answering reference questions, appraising donations, and maintaining the archival database. Previous roles include Reference Librarian at Sam Houston State University and Archive Intern at Lincoln College, University of Oxford, where Victoria engaged in research support and archival arrangement projects. Educational qualifications include a Master of Arts in Archives and Records Management from the University of Liverpool, a Certificate of Continuing Education in Medieval Studies from the University of Cambridge, and a Bachelor of Arts with honors in German and Linguistics from The University of Texas at Austin, along with studies at The Julius Maximilians University of Würzburg. A strong background in both archival management and library services complements Victoria's professional development in the field.
