Mora Karas started their work experience in 2007 as a Staff RN at Chilton Medical Center, where they stayed until 2013. From 2013 to 2016, they worked as a Staff Registered Nurse at West Parkway Ambulatory Surgery Center. In 2017, they joined United Methodist Communities as a Staff Development Coordinator/Infection Preventionist and worked there until 2018. Mora then became the Director of Nursing at United Methodist Communities from 2018 to 2020. Currently, Mora holds the position of Director of CNA Training and Development at the same organization.
Mora Karas began their education by attending Rutgers University from 1999 to 2003, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree. Their studies at Rutgers University focused on Management and Labor Relations as well as Psychology. Following their time at Rutgers, they pursued a degree at Passaic County Community College from 2003 to 2006, earning an Associate of Science (A.S.) in Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse. As of 2022, Mora Karas is enrolled at Western Governors University, where they are expected to complete their Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) degree with a specialization in Nurse Education in 2023.
In addition to their formal education, Mora Karas has obtained various certifications.
