although a retired director of nursing at St. Luke’s Roosevelt Hospital Center, Rosa wants to continue using her gifts and skills, which motivate her volunteerism on the United Methodist Communities Board of Directors.
With a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Pace University and a Master of Science in Nursing from Seton Hall University, Rosa brings extensive knowledge including certification in Adult Nursing and Geriatrics.
She cites, “The board is a group of people that love United Methodist Communities and the people they serve,” as her inspiration for joining its board of directors. As a volunteer, her skills and experience complement the organizational focus: teaching, program development, public speaking, healthcare management and administration, and nursing.
In addition to serving the United Methodist Church of Greater New Jersey as a Lay Leader, Rosa currently chairs both the Board of Laity and the Nominations Committee.
